Moving to a new country or learning its geography from a textbook can feel overwhelming. At Labmations Media, we believe that understanding your home should feel like an exciting journey rather than a classroom lecture.
We are proud to introduce our latest original project: an interactive, pixel-art adventure game that brings the entire map of Canada to life!
Embark Across the Provinces & Territories
In this game, players step into the shoes of an explorer traveling coast to coast across Canada. As you navigate the pixelated national map, each province and territory opens up into a distinct, explorable region packed with discovery:
- Interactive Quests & Regional Lore: Uncover cultural landmarks, local history, and the geographic wonders unique to each province.
- Knowledge Questionnaires: Test what you’ve learned through engaging quizzes and regional challenges.
- Unlockable Rewards: Earn special in-game items, badges, and milestones as you master Canada’s heritage, landscapes, and civic identity.
Designed for Newcomers, Families, and Young Explorers
This project was built with a clear purpose: to welcome and empower new Canadian immigrants, refugees, and newcomers, while giving curious kids and students a fun, intuitive way to explore Canada’s diverse geography.
By translating essential geographic and cultural knowledge into an interactive 8-bit aesthetic, the game lowers language barriers and turns the settlement and learning process into an inviting adventure.
Development Status & What’s Next
The core game is fully completed! Our team is currently finalizing the technical framework and installation requirements to ensure smooth, accessible performance across target platforms.
Stay tuned for official release dates, platform support announcements, and previews.
